Day 11 of
30 Days of Photographs III. Yesterday's photos were probably the best so far in the challenge. Everyone did such a great job, I was floored. The creativity is just amazing. Or, as Michael would say, awesome photos! Now go add your link at the bottom of the page, and then go look at the other photos.
Heavy
Day 11. Only 400 days left to go. This challenge has invaded my life, my dreams. Everything I see is a possible photo. It's become so bad now that it's driven me to drink heavily.
Only champagne, of course, I'm no savage.

30 Days of Photographs III: Heavy
every day is like this for me. everything is photo op. love the photo and it reminds me that i haven't had a drink in years, but keep meaning to. i don't think i want the calories, rather eat them. :)
ReplyDeleteI identify totally - it's become an obsession...
ReplyDeleteMy box-o-wine seems to be emptying a little more quickly these days, too.
ReplyDeleteI really really like this, it's a beautiful shot and the glass looks stunning in black and white. I would have to say though that whoever is pouring the champange is making a real hash of it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture! Can I drink heavily with you!?
ReplyDeleteSo like now you're a heavy drinker? Lovely shot, Ziva.
ReplyDeleteI feel about champagne the way you feel about cheese. Nice pic though, of this disgusting beverage :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm not drinking enough, because I am being so last minute in taking the pictures this go round. I love the black and white for this shot of yours!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo!
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously, it's very nice. The tonal range is exquisite.
But what I'd really like to know is how many glasses of champagne you drank that day. One? Four? More? Weddings are stressful, and stress often leads to drinking, and drinking often leads to more drinking. So I guess the question becomes: Did M carry you over the threshold after threshold, or did he HAVE to carry you over the threshold?
Excellent photo with this theme and the perfect explanation! Photo itself is really beautiful too! I hope you will not be back to our theme days ago "hair" (of the dog).
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. I would have probably shot a photo of beer. Americans are savage like that.
ReplyDeleteYum champagne! But you are not allowed to become a heavy drinker just yet. We are only 11 days in!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'd love some champagne. Perfect choice (b&w) for the shot. Love the contrast.
ReplyDeleteYes, please.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo!
You know, that's very sensible, alcohol really is incredibly calorie-rich.
ReplyDeleteAnd not an entirely good one, either. ;)
ReplyDeleteOccupational hazard of blogging.
ReplyDeleteYou saying you could do it better?
ReplyDeleteYes, extremely heavy.
ReplyDeleteKippis!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike. I'm glad we can agree to hate each others' loves. Or something. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou and me both, LM!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I have a good camera. Awesome tonal range.
ReplyDeleteHah! Me, too, Coco. I'll try to only have a glass or two.. Or maybe just a few more...
ReplyDeleteI love savage!
ReplyDeleteI know, that's what's driving me to drink!
ReplyDeleteHere, have some more. I think we're going to need it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Reffie. Care for another glass?
ReplyDeleteYou didn't answer my questions. What gives? Cat got your tongue (In your case, perhaps literally)?
ReplyDeleteThe photo wasn't taken at my wedding. ;)
ReplyDeleteBa-HAHAHAAA!!! "Only 400 days left to go." - you kill me. Man, I love your photo, though.
ReplyDeleteXOXOX
ReplyDeletePlease tell me you shot this at some event and didn't spend a gazillion hours setting up this shot? PLEASE?
ReplyDelete(If you set it up, it's no wonder you've completely lost your mind. There's only so much I'm willing to sacrifice for this challenge.)
All of that said, it's a gorgeous photo and so beautifully composed.
Well, who's face is red now? I need a drink. Another drink.
ReplyDeleteAn obsessed, sophisticated, heavy drinker. And from the looks of this perfectly composed photo, possibly a touch of OCD. With a camera. Sounds like trouble. I hope M is in this for the long haul. :)
ReplyDeleteTrouble? Little ol' me? I have no idea where you got that idea... ;)
ReplyDeleteM just nods and smiles nowadays when I talk to him. Weird guy.
Hahaha! I took the photo as my mom was pouring champagne for her guests. I'm only willing to go so far for this challenge. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell it does feel like 400, doesn't it?? Maybe 399 today.. ;) Thank you, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteHey Ziva! Like the CALM photo, this has wonderful contrast. May I join you? Indigo x
ReplyDeleteIt would make me very happy if you did. May I pour you a glass? (I promise I will do a better job of it than whoever is doing the pouring in the photo.)
