Add the link to your post at the bottom of the page, and make sure it goes to the actual post, not just your blog. You want people to be able to find your photo even after we're done with this challenge. As if that's ever going to happen.
One more thing, Michael and I were wondering if you'd like us to post our favorites of the bunch like we did last time? As you know, Day 31 is outtakes day, when you post the photos you took but didn't get a chance to use, but if you can handle even more photo posts, Michael and I would also look at everyone's photos, choose our one favorite photo by each participant, and repost it and shower you all with compliment soon after the challenge has ended. We don't require you to do the same (unless you really want to, of course, you freak.) What say you, would you like that?
M&Ms
I certainly hope someone was a little more creative than I was today. But in all fairness, I only got one shot, because M kept eating my props.

Morning Ziva! I've just had breakfast, but damn you I'm all hungry again; I see M's dilemma. Favourites? Of course! Outtakes? Heh, maybe! I've taken so many photos of late. I'll check out what I have =) And Ooooh, KAFKAESQUE is soon? Hmmm, best get moving on that! I have to find a giant dung beetle from somewhere. Indigo x
ReplyDeleteIsn't it kind of early for candy?
ReplyDeleteI think it would be great if you and Michael posted about your favorite photos on Oct. 31. As far as your M&M picture goes, it is wonderful. I have yet to take any action shots. You are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteyummy and good looking photo. love that they are suspended in mid-air
ReplyDeletesure do the favy thingy
It's never to early for candy for Indigo... or pizza.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to 30 Photographs of M&M's! I wonder if Fake Barbie will be able to eat any so soon after her operation. You and Michael will have a huge job ahead, picking out the favorites from everyone. In the meantime, I have to run... off to the toy store to look for Kafkaesque Barbie. (I think she started out as Malibu Barbie.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo....I'm still working on the motion thing with my camera.
ReplyDeleteBahahahahahaha! I'm pretty sure she started out as Fake Barbie and her futile attempt to become a real Barbie is what makes her a perfect subject for Kafkaesque.
ReplyDeleteAs we say in parts of the northeast: Nevah.
ReplyDeleteOur next photo challenge could be the evolution of Fake Barbie! (I love Katherine for introducing us to Fake Barbie!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot Ziva. Love me some action, but you knew that already.
ReplyDeleteI don't much care if you & Mike choose your favorite photo from each of the participant's portfolio from this challenge. I think the real question here is this: just how much punishment do you and @mikewjattoomanymornings:disqus believe you deserve for starting 30 Days of Photographs III?
You onlt took one pciture and ended up with that shot? Aren't you a smartie!
ReplyDeleteWhen you take this action photo, do you use both hands for M&M's and your camera and take this photo by yourself? Just a curious. Nice photo focusing on the falling ones. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think they do this if not for the punishment?
ReplyDeleteCatching the M&M's mid fall was a great idea...it gave the candy a little more interest!
ReplyDeleteYes, a favs post would be great. As you know, I am doing one and between the three (or more) of us, we should be able to highlight nearly everyone!
ReplyDeletethriftshopcommando.blogspot.com
Damn! I hadn't even considered that. You're probably spot on.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I need a camera. To take awesome pics of stuff in motion.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I'm hungry for m&ms now.
M' N Ms......I love the characters, and like eating them too!
ReplyDeletethose look delicious! And I love how you captured them in mid-air!
ReplyDeleteThat shot is the epitome of eye candy. Beautiful shot, Lemmikki.
ReplyDeleteHey, I need a shower and some compliments, so I'm game. Love your photo of M&Ms. Just pour some milk on them and eat 'em instead of cereal. Sounds like a plan!
ReplyDeleteI love the motion of this photo and, of course, the color. I also like that little IKEA bowl you're pouring them into. We have an IKEA store here, too.
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to do a shot with falling m&m's, but knew I could not do it justice. I was thrilled to see yours - it is PERFECT! I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteI bet those M&Ms are awesome. According to Mitch Hedberg, food tastes better after it has fallen.
ReplyDeleteWell if it was Mitch Hedberg who said it, it must be right.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you won't believe this, but I wanted to take a photo of M&Ms outside among the leaves, but didn't have the time. I was thrilled to see yours, it was perfect! :D
ReplyDeleteIKEA? IKEA?! This is NOT an IKEA bowl. It's an original Marimekko bowl, it is pretty and classy and the quality is perfect. It's a freaking designer bowl. The Louboutin of bowls.
ReplyDeleteOkay, pouring milk over M&Ms would totally ruin them, but pouring M&Ms over milk would totally make the milk better. Can someone please explain to me why it works like that?
ReplyDeleteA photo of you in your new shoes is the epitome of eye candy, my gorgeous Canadian, but thank you. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Meleah!
ReplyDeleteDon't we all Jenny! :)
ReplyDeleteI distinctly remember telling you to buy a camera... I'm not sharing my candy with you until you get that camera.
ReplyDeleteYes, it seems like people like the praise, so Michael and I will do it, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, LM! And did you know, it's better if the candy falls from high up, because it loses weight and calories as its speed approaches the speed of light. True story.
ReplyDeleteIn this photo, I made M pour the candy into the bowl and I just held the camera. It's good to have an assistant. ;)
ReplyDeleteHah! Funny.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteMichael and I do love us some punishment... ;)
Thanks, Danielle. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you find Kafkaesque Barbie, can I play with her, too?
ReplyDeleteThanks, V, glad you liked it. :)
ReplyDeleteWe'll probably do outtakes on the 31st like the rest of you, and then do a separate post a couple of days later with our favorites, just to give ourselves some time to breathe and look at all the photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked my photo, it's always tricky to get it right.
A giant dung beetle? I cannot wait to see what you've come up with. And don't you dare blame your hungry state on me, Indigo, you need to eat a proper breakfast and not just have coffee.
ReplyDeleteSilly, silly, Mike.
