30 Days of Photographs II: Moon

5:33 AM.

That's the time when the moon rises today. I haven't seen the moon since this challenge started. Every night I've tried to catch a glimpse of it, but to no avail. I saw it one morning when I was driving to work, but I was late, it was light outside and I didn't feel like stopping to take a photo.

But luckily, I do have a photo for you. A photo of a movie poster. See, last night M and I saw Iron Sky. It's a dark sci-fi comedy with a heavy dose of parody and a very healthy attitude towards Western politics. Oh, and there are Nazis on the moon. A quality film, if you ask me.

If you have the chance, go see it, it was well worth the watch, and the soundtrack was awesome.

This post is a part of the 30 Days of Photographs II challenge. 1. I suppose it's okay if they stay there. They're not coming back are they?

  2. I'm with dufus on this one. If they're there, they can stay there.

  3. Think I will just wait for the sequel, "In 1945 The Nazis Went To Hell".
I had the same issue as you with catching a shot of the moon. However, last night I finally got an awesome shot! :)

  4. Did all of them go?  How long did they stay?  What did they do?

I like the photo of the movie poster.

  5. It was a documentary, right, comedy but based in truth?

  6. I hate to tell you this, dufus, but they're already here.

  7. Sorry, they didn't... But if it makes you happier, they only attacked New York City.

  8. You got the most awesome shot of all, I can't believe how lucky you were!

  9. I guess the survivers went? And then they stayed until now, making babies and rasing a new generation or two of peace-loving Nazis. It's a great movie.

  10. Yes, because sometimes, you just have to laugh at the Nazis coming from the moon to take over the world.

  11. I LOVE NY. Why couldn't it have been Los Angeles?

  12. You had this one in the bag until a few minutes ago...

  13. Girlfriend, it just takes patience. I sat on that dock for hours and hours just waiting for the perfect moon shot. Did I mention that wine was involved?

  14. I haven't seen the movie, Ziva (nor even heard of it) but I'll a point to look out for it.  Kinda sounds like my visit to the hospital today.  It was rather surreal.

  15. I love the tag "not an actual photo of the moon". You know, seeing as your name is Ziva Moon, you could have taken a picture of yourself :-)

  16. Patience? I'm not familiar with this word.

  17. Oh I hope everything went okay? Surreal doesn't sound too good. I hope there weren't any moon nazis, that would really suck. :P

  18. I actually considered it, but then I realized I didn't want to scare my readers away, so I went with nazis instead.

  19. You're right, that would have been way better.. I've been to New York, and I loved it.

  20. I'm not familiar with that word either. I would never sit and wait on a photo! I was being sarcastic.

  24. Nazis on the moon is a new one for me. And yeah, what's up with the moon not being around at all?

  25. I think the moon was making fun of us. Or maybe it was a nazi conspiracy!

  26. Well, I'm not sure if I mentioned that in the comments, but in the actual post I recommended you go see it if you have the chance, that it was well worth the watch, and that the soundtrack was awesome. So yeah, I thought it was good. ;)

  27. If you get the chance, you definitely should.

  28. Well, it's a Finnish production, but it's pretty big outside of Finland, too, so you might actually be able to find it. :)

  29. Man, I hate Nazis.  Guess we have to deal with them on the moon now too.  Gotta check out that movie!  :)
