Oops

It's that time again. It's the last day of the month, and it's time to post the photos we've taken for the photography challenge so kindly brought to us by P.J.

The theme of the month was "transportation", and I set out with all kinds of ideas. Sadly, life got in the way of photography this time around, so I didn't get the spectacular shots I wanted to get. But I did take a few photos, and I'm sure there's a story in there somewhere if you look closely enough.

  1. That reminds me. I gotta get my summer tires installed now that the snow is gone. Great photos, Ziva. Are the cops looking for you or something with their helicopters?

  2. The shot of the crutches evoke a visceral emotional response from me for some reason. I imagine pain, and loss -- perhaps because so many of our soldiers have lost their legs in our never-ending wars. Makes me sad.

I love the shot of the tire, which tells a story and is composed in an unusual triangle, as well as the color photo of the helicopter and ambulance. I like the balance of the two brightly colored vehicles sandwiched between those colorless buildings.

    Nice work, Ziva.

  3. I really dig that top shot with the depth of field and somebody working in the background. Very cool. I like the crutches one as well. A good angle on it. Good shots for this month's theme, Ziva. You really have a good eye!

  5. Thank you! :) We live right next to a big hospital, so I get lots of opportunities to take photos of various forms of ambulances. ;)

  6. Thank you, Mike. :) I'm glad you liked my photos. The one of the helicopter and the ambulance is a favorite of mine, too.

  7. Your photos are always amazing. Did you hang off the building to get the shot of the helicopter?

  8. These are all really great, but my favorites are the two helicopter shots. Is that how you get to work everyday? I wish I had a helicopter...

  9. What? No picture of an air compressor? :-)

I love these. I love that your camera actually makes things blurry in the back and super clear in the front, unlike mine that just makes things blurry.

  10. Are you still using that 1992 Polaroid?

  12. It sure is. And I parachute down, they rarely have time to stop to drop me off.

  13. The air compressor is behind M somewhere, I left it there so he'd turn around and see it and get freaked out.
