30 Days of Photographs II: Crowd
Your night shots are always simply great. This one's no exception. Two's a crowd, eh?
ReplyDeleteNo dufus, two's company and three's a crowd. I damn near went with that so I looked it up to be sure my memory hadn't failed me yet again. Aging sucks.
ReplyDeleteBeing behind rather than in the middle is the only comfortable place in a crowd. Super shot, Ziva.
ReplyDeleteI think the other folks have lighters...at a concert. So there's more than three people there.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Cheryl. Plus, you get the best people shots when you're in the back or to the side. ;) Glad you liked the photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks, dufus. :) This is more of an implied crowd... there were a lot of people there, even though it might not be entirely obvious from the photo.
ReplyDeleteVery good, Bryan, you get a cookie.
ReplyDeleteJust one? I think you should send me a box. :)
ReplyDeleteSure. Now where can I find a really tiny box....?
ReplyDeleteYou're cruel...even without the whip. :P
ReplyDeleteHah, you have it all wrong.. I'm not cruel with the whip. In fact, I can be very, very nice..
ReplyDeleteI'll have to take M's word for that. :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo Lemmikki. Seriously amazing. Is there no end to your talents?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I finally got my picture posted, if you'd like to come back and see it.
Once again your use of light and color have me amazed. I particularly like the light on the guys shoulder in the foreground. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful, dreamy photograph that also proves not everything has to be in focus to be meaningful or interesting. I love it. Wouldn't mind a print of it, in fact.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I love a blurry crowd! The blurrier the better, because it usually means I've consumed enough vodka to handle being IN a crowd!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of being stoned at a concert. You've captured that beautifully for me. Either that or being in a religious cult. Sort of the same but different.
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you, Nicky, you always say the sweetest things.
ReplyDeleteI'll be right over! Oh, and I'm carrying my whip.
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it, it was a great place to take photos, the lights were just amazing.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, now I know what to get you for your birthday.
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad you liked the photo, Michael. :)
Haha, you're hilarious!
ReplyDeleteWell, it wasn't a religious cult, and I wasn't stoned, but it was indeed a concert, and maybe my camera was stoned?
ReplyDeleteAbsolute class. The blurry background, the lights, the general framing and focus are spot on.
ReplyDeleteWish my ear was smaller in the photo though.
This is beautiful. The blur is kind of how I've been seeing the world lately.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this challenge will do that to you..
ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you this, but your ears are only going to get bigger, they never stop growing. In a few years when I take that same photo, people will mistake you for Dumbo. Glad you liked the photo, though! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, well at least I'll get to fly and save on travel costs.
ReplyDeletexoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteAlright you two. Get a room already.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is really perfect, Ziva. Truly. The glorious (and almost "purple") haze one feels when milling about in a concert crowd (with or without the "enhancements").
ReplyDelete(I can't really tell since his ears are about all I've ever seen of him, but isn't that CheesyMike in the foreground?) ;-)
Wow, you made that photo beautiful yet sinister. Where were you? I think I want to be there.
ReplyDeleteI KNEW it! I was going to ask if this shot was from the show you went to the other night. The cigarette smoke combined with lights gives bar shots a certain look. One, I've had lots of opportunities to shoot!
ReplyDeleteThey look a little dodgy, don't they? ;) It was taken at a concert, it was a lot of fun, you should have been there!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was Mo? I have no idea anymore, all our blogger guys look the same to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the photo. Oddly enough, "purple" really does describe that feeling you get at a concert with the lights and crowd and the general atmosphere..
Great plan, Dumbo.
ReplyDeleteThere's something special about that 'bar look', isn't there? I love taking photos of it.
