Day 13: Wrong
I have nothing.
Seriously, nothing.
I thought this would be an easy prompt, but I've been so busy lately, I just haven't had time to think about any of the prompts and to come up with decent ideas. September was a bad month for the challenge. Both my co-host MikeWJ and I are in the process of moving. I bought a house yesterday, and Mike's been trying to sell his house while looking at new places. I've also been preparing to start a new job on Monday, which doesn't sound like a lot of work, but believe me, it's been crazy. M's been away on trip after trip, leaving me in charge of the cats and of feeding myself, and that just isn't right. So this was my breakfast today, which is most definitely wrong.
My sincerest apologies for posting yet another food photo. I promise it won't happen again. My photo for tomorrow is going to be awesome. Well, perhaps not awesome, but definitely not food. I think.

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful photo, despite the lack of nutrients!
Oh, that is definitely wrong. That stuff always chokes me :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with popcorn for breakfast? HA!
ReplyDeleteAlso - I am really surprised y'all picked this month for the challenge with everything that's happening in your lives!
Congrats on the house and good luck in the new job. Popcorn is wrong for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteI was really expecting to see a picture of cheese. Or me. Either one works. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't see anything wrong here. Not unless you ate it with a hot-buttered vodka.
ReplyDeleteOh god, you live in Finland. You might have.
I too nearly blew out on this post and then resorted to a food photograph. Good luck with all the life changes!
ReplyDeleteIt might be wrong but it's yummy.
ReplyDeleteLooks right to me. Wait. You forgot the cheese.
ReplyDeleteYou know that may be wrong but there's a kernel of truth in what you say, Ziva.
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling you were signing papers for a house based on yesterday's post - the only thing I've ever signed papers for was a loan and the only one that I was nervous about was the house. I hoped that was what you meant & I'm thrilled for you and M. Congratulations on the new job too! I hate that in-between time because you're right, it's crazy as hell.
ReplyDeleteAll the best with both new adventures!
That's a lot of shit going on, good shit but still sloppy. Congrats! Have the popcorn. It will make you feel better. It's still a great shot. I mean really. Who can make a picture of bowl of popcorn look good? YOU CAN!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm also sitting in a packed house waiting for the damn thing to sell! Between the three of us, we could start a real estate firm or a moving company! That is exciting news about a new home and new job! Good for you, girlfriend. Too bad this is all happening at the same time as 30 Days. We want photos of the new place!
ReplyDeleteThis one nearly killed me -- aack! Popcorn can never be wrong. I love popcorn!
ReplyDelete:-)
Traci
Me too, Traci!
ReplyDeleteIt was really bad timing on 30 Days, but we had no idea the house thing would happen in September. It's awesome that it did, of course, we've been looking for a house for months and months! We won't be able to move in until November, but I can't wait. :) I hope your house sells soon!
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks, Lauren! You know, popcorn is surprisingly tasty as a breakfast, and since it was celebratory popcorn, it was even better. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Cheryl! We got the loan last week, and yesterday we signed the papers for the house. I wasn't really nervous about getting the loan, but when we waited to sign the papers for the house, I was really shaky. But it's now ours, even if we won't get to move in until November. :) I can't wait to move.
ReplyDeleteYou never disappoint, dufus. :)
ReplyDeleteCheese.. So very very wrong!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds, Tami.. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's not how you're supposed to eat it?
ReplyDeleteCheese will never make an appearance on this blog, my love. You, on the other hand, can do whatever you want on this blog, as long as it doesn't involve cheese. Or farm animals.
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
ReplyDeleteSo am I, Meleah! But we didn't know it would all happen right now, things just sort of started happening after we announced the challenge! We're trying to survive, though, and so far so good. Sort of. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, you have to be careful about that stuff. Me, I always manage to break a tooth or something.
ReplyDeleteOhh, yes!! In fact, I'm now going to have popcorn for breakfast every day until you come over here and cook me a real breakfast. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for all things new for you & M!
ReplyDeleteIn my experience, it's never been about the loan. With our first house, we were both HOLY SHIT WE'RE GOING TO OWN A HOME excited and, at the same time, nervous because HOLY SHIT WE'RE GOING TO OWN A HOME!
ReplyDeleteWhen we decided to leave Maine and move back to NH, we had custody of my then 6-year old great nephew. The entire process was nerve-racking, far more complicated, and nothing whatsoever went well. Up until the moment all of the papers were signed and notarized, I think we both were nervous that one more thing was going to wrong and we wouldn't have a place to live because someone was moving into our old house on the day we closed on the new house.
Stfu. :D
ReplyDeleteOh I love popcorn... did I ever tell ya I love popcorn??
ReplyDeleteI think you and I could be great friends; I love popcorn, too!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm glad everything worked out in the end, that sounds horrible! We've had a few setbacks since we started looking for a house. It took us over 6 months to find this one, and we were thisclose to buying a house in June, but at the very last minute, lost it to the owner himself when he decided he wouldn't sell after all. We are so happy to have signed all the papers now, and this house is officially ours, but we're still totally nervous because HOLY SHIT WE OWN A HOME! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Meleah!
