Day 27: NSEW
M and I like to travel. We've seen some pretty great places and have some pretty amazing memories of said places. We don't like to buy a lot o souvenirs when we travel, though, because you just end up with a shitload of stuff and nowhere to put it. Instead, we've started to collect magnets from each place we visit. Extra points if you can identify all of the places we've been to according to our fridge.
*
I'm far less interested in the place magnets than that lovely drawing and all those little word magnets. Don't be coy, Ziva, tell us how you really feel about this challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh, Ziva, you have such a magnetic personality.
ReplyDeleteI see you've been to the 'funny farm' :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like this idea! Cool magnet board. I think the first smiley face was the first photo challenge. Each additional photo challenge degraded your insanity. I can't wait to see the smiley reflecting this latest challenge.
ReplyDeleteHee Hee.
Um, did a raccoon fart?
My wife collects the magnets too. I collect oddly shaped magnets.
ReplyDeleteYou win for making fridge art compelling.
ReplyDeleteI think the magnet idea is brilliant! If only I went cool places like you!
ReplyDelete:-)
Traci
I'm particularly impressed by the flatulating raccoon.
ReplyDeleteI believe the magnet marked Copenhagen is from Copenhagen. I love your magnet collection.
ReplyDeleteHa! I just noticed your tags. Sorry, but my aunt carries that distinction so you'll have to wait awhile until you claim title to WWW. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThis was a great idea and I'm so jealous of your Prague castle magnet :)
ReplyDeleteHey, you're going to a diaper rash convention in Dallas, so you really can't complain, Traci.
ReplyDeleteSure, I asked M to navigate while I drove and he and Google Maps did a bang-up job guiding us through the forgotten backwaters of Colorado. I'm so grateful for that because we could've gotten lost and ended up working as sex slaves on a cattle ranch for the rest of our lives courtesy of some insane cowboy with no teeth, a large shotgun and a lot of rope. You have no idea how wild the Wild West really is.
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of magnets and like this picture a lot because it invites exploration. It's great to see all the places you've been, especially the best place of all, Mt. Evans in Colorado. It was amazing and wonderful to get a visit from both of you, and it's something I won't forget until I'm in the nursing home. Which will probably be next week sometime, but hey, you take life as it comes to you.
Hahaha, was my distaste for it that obvious? :D
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you, Dufus, I feel a bit drawn to you myself.
ReplyDeleteJust another stop on my way to Hell. ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, soon I'm going to need a smiley face in the last throes of death.
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a hobby, eh?
ReplyDeleteHaha, thank you, Nora. :)
ReplyDeleteOnly you would think a diaper rash convention is cool, Michael.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Traci! We're really lucky to be able to travel as much as we do. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tami, that's a little drawing my sister made at some point, and then it just sort of stuck around.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct! Congratulations, you get to pick one of the prompts for 30 Days of Photographs V, scheduled to start October 1st.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I guess I'll just have to be patient then.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike! Prague was awesome, I would love to go again. :)
ReplyDeleteWorking as sex slaves on a cattle ranch for some cowboy with a large gun and a lot of rope didn't sound so bad at all until you got to the no teeth part. That's just gross.
ReplyDeleteThe Mt. Evans magnet might be my favorite one. Mostly because I'm just proud survived the damn thing.
You can? I really need to start choosing my magnets more carefully.
ReplyDeleteI'm on it. I will start a collection, Or take CheesyMike's credit card.
ReplyDeleteYou can time it for the hockey season and watch Saku or
Mikko or Olli or Jussi or Teemu or Valtteri or Niklas play against Montreal.
Oh my god, that would be the most amazing thing ever.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the magnets - that's a great way to keep souvenirs of the places you've traveled to!
ReplyDeleteIt really is, they don't take much space, and there always there for you to look at and remember. :)
ReplyDeleteTotally perfect!
ReplyDeleteLet me guess... are the smiley faces from MIke?
