Link up, my friends, and show me your junk.
Day 17: My Junk
Having recently bought a house, I've been doing a lot of thinking about my junk. What should I get rid of, what should I keep, what can I sell, what can I bury out by the highway? So much junk, and so many questions. Because soon, all of my junk will have to move.
It's still full of someone else's junk, but by November, it'll be my junk in that kitchen.
I can't wait!

OH my gosh I WANT that kitchen! I know you're thrilled!
ReplyDeleteThat kitchen is beautiful. I see a nice little cushy place for the kitty.....or maybe he will prefer the countertops. I will send you more junk to put in it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kitchen! I bet you can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteNice place. Can you bake cookies there for me?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a gorgeous kitchen. I hope to post later in the afternoon. I've been feeling shitty yesterday and today. And today I work ... shittier.
ReplyDeleteIf you think there's junk in that photo, you should visit my house!
ReplyDeleteThat is a GORGEOUS kitchen! I'm so excited for your big move & new home!
ReplyDeleteOK, I guess that's the junky kitchen of a person with OCD?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the perfect Ziva place to be!
ReplyDeleteNo matter how little junk you bring from your apartment, it's going to multiply a million fold in your house. It'll be great!
ReplyDeleteNice kitchen! A new house is always fun!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that kitchen! My favorite decor colors are black and white. The nice touches of stainless just make it sparkle! Now I am anxious to see the rest of the house. Can you make each new photo topic match a new photo of the house? Please! So proud for you.
ReplyDeleteI totally am! :)
ReplyDeleteI think Yoda and Darth Vader are going to be all over every surface, especially the little cushy place.
ReplyDeleteI really can't. :) I'm spending way too much time looking for inspiration for interior decorating.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can certainly bake cookies...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lauren! I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well, I hope you feel better soon. And that by some miracle, you suddenly don't have to work anymore. ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! Just wait until I get my stuff in there. I'm going to strive to keep it as tidy as it is in that photo, though. Wish me luck. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Meleah! :)
ReplyDeleteWait until I get my junk in there. ;)
ReplyDeleteI know, right? :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck! :D
ReplyDeleteIt'll be horrible! I don't like clutter. Clutter breeds more clutter and more clutter somehow means spiders and spiders are evil.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :D
ReplyDeleteWell, this is my first one, but I have a feeling you're right, Linda! Thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm not sure how well it would go over if I used the new house for each of the upcoming prompts. :D But thank you! I love black and white, too, and I absolutely love the dark floors in this house. I can't wait to fill it with black and white furniture and little splashes of bright color to liven it up.
ReplyDeleteThat kitchen is GORGEOUS! Please post a pic, junk or no, when you move in. I am so jealous!
ReplyDelete:-)
Traci
Where will you hang your whip?
ReplyDeleteBack when I directed plays, I always staged them in black and white with pops of color. Judges could always identify my plays without a program. My little trick. :)
ReplyDeleteHoly COW! That is AMAZING!!!! I would throw EVERYTHING away I have just to own that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely modern kitchen. Perfect for baking. I'd like something loaded with butter and chocolate when I visit. And if there happens to be a casserole of kalops handy, so much the better.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and M.
Heart attack on a plate for Mike when he visits, check!
ReplyDeleteWell, you can't have my kitchen, but you're definitely welcome to come visit whenever you want! ;)
ReplyDeleteI really can't!
ReplyDeleteThank you, gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteI will! And I'll add some junk just for the sake of it. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that!
ReplyDeletePerhaps you can suggest a good spot for it?
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I can't wait to move in!
ReplyDeleteJunk moves. It's all part of life. If you have a lawn sale, it can move somewhere else and you can get money for it!
ReplyDeleteI love this soon-to-be your kitchen. I'd kill for that kind of space, lighting, and all those modern appliances.
